Florida jumps over several places in Espn's College Basketball Power Index from ESPN

After the games of the games on Saturday, Florida moved several places in the ESPN College -Basketball -Power Index from ESPN.

The Gators defeated the LSU 79: 65 on Saturday and switched to 24: 3 in the season as a result of this performance – and other games from all over the country – Florida climbed in the latest BPI rankings, which were updated on Sunday morning, at 3 Places in 5th place.

Florida is now only behind Duke, Houston, Auburn and Tennessee in the BPI ranking. Previously, the Gators also stood behind Alabama, Iowa State and Arizona.

Among the teams in front of Florida, the gators were confronted with the Vols twice and Tiger once. Florida divided the season series with Tennessee, but received Auburn the first SEC loss of the season on February 8th.

The BPI from ESPN was sometimes a bit confused this season, but it is still good to see how the Gators move into the top 5 of the model. Florida is also in the top 5 other predictive numbers such as Kenpom and BartTorvik, just a few weeks before the regular season. Joe Lunardi von ESPN also predicts that Florida will be a seed No. 1 in the NCAA tournament because things are currently.
