However, after the clock ended, the late increase was too short. Dukes No. 18 (4-1) sneaked the No. 5 Gator (3-2) with a 17:16 victory in the Crown Lacrosse classic in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Despite the loss, Redshirt-Freshman attacker Frannie Hahn delivered a career.

However, the battles of the Gator came from problems. The UF changed three goalkeepers throughout the game, starting with the doctoral student Georgia Hoey, who was drawn after four goals in the opening time.

Redshirt Junior Elyse Finnnelle replaced Hoey, but was used in the middle of the third quarter after 11 goals on 17 shots.

The goalkeeper of Freshman, Susan Radebaugh, took over the last 21 minutes and helped to fuel the comeback bid of Florida, with only two goals scored three goals in her second college appearance.
