According to the Forest City police authority, the threats to shops in Rutherford County were suspended on March 13.

The only Lowe's in Forest City are changing directly from the Highway 74, and the only Walmart is on the other side of the street.

On March 14, the police, Charles Aaron Parris, who used to live in Rutherford County, said in connection with “youngest” bomb threats. He was arrested in Florida after being identified as a suspect.

The Forest City police said they take threats “seriously”.

“Events like this require considerable resources in law enforcement, emergency staff pull out of critical tasks and burdened the resources of public security,” the police said in one Press release. “False threats not only cause fear and disorder, but also hire unnecessary risks for officers, first aiders and the public.”

The police did not say what Parris faces.
