Florida's Attorney General announced on Tuesday that his office had opened a criminal investigation against Andrew and Tristan Tate that had returned to the USA in Romania in Romania. Attorney General James Uthmeier announced in a post on X that he had instructed his office to work with the law enforcement authorities in order to carry out a preliminary examination of the Tate of Brothers. “Based on a thorough review of the evidence, I have instructed the office of national law enforcement to carry out search commands and to issue lectures in the now active criminal examination of the Tate brothers,” said Uthmeier.

“Florida has no tolerance for people who abuse women and girls,” said Uthmeier. “We will not allow it”, after the crime had ended up in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, said governor Ron Desantis reporters that the brothers in Florida were not welcome and that the Attorney General would examine whether the state might have jurisdiction for its alleged crimes, reports the AP. The deeds that are double US citizens were arrested at the end of 2022 and officially charged in Romania last year because they took part in a criminal ring that attracted women to this country, where they were sexually exploited. Andrew Tate was also charged for rape. They deny the allegations.

During a appearance on Monday in the PPD podcast, Andrew Tate said that the governor had adhered to the pressure media pressure. Tate said he had a US pass and a right to visit his home country. He said he had not broken any laws and he had never been tried because of a crime, let alone convicted. Both brothers are loud supporters of President Trump. The crime left Romania after Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu said this month that an official from the Trump Administration expressed interest in the case of the brothers at the latest Munich security conference.
