Florida Sheriff says

The sheriff sheriff of Escambia County, Chip Simmons, said that despite the calls in relation to several shots, the law enforcement agencies have not found any signs of an active shooter and have not found any injuries to the Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola. However, they still sweep the building out of caution. There are no details about what happened at the base.

In an earlier statement by NAS Pensacola it says: “The security forces of the NAS Pensacola Navy and the local law enforcement companies react to an active shooter situation on March 6 on the board of Corry Station.”

“Our security team reacts quickly and professionally with our local law enforcement companies,” said captain Chandra Newman in the explanation of NAS Pensacola. “Our concern is always the security and well -being of our service members and their families. The goals of NAS Pensacola and Corry station areas are closed. Further information will be published on the social media sites of the air station as soon as they are available.”

NAS Pensacola experienced a terrorist attack in December 2019 when the Royal Saudi Air Force 2. Lt. Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani shot three seafarers and eight more wounded. This could explain why today's report caused such a big answer from the law enforcement authorities.
