Florida Tallies Road victory against the state of Mississippi

Starkville, Miss.– The Florida Gators dominated on the street and secured a 4-0 state of Mississippi in Mississippi on Friday. With the victory, Uf achieved her second conference victory and her first SEC -Road win of the 2025 season. Florida remained strong both in doubles and in the singles campaign to demonstrate their ability to compete against highly respected opponents.

Florida stated the tone early by winning the colon. The duo of Rachel Gailis And Nikola Daubnerova delivered a flawless 6-0 victory against Joyna Clemens and Chiara di Genova while Alicia Dudeney And Bente Spee sealed the point with a 6: 3 victory against Gianna Oboniye and Athina Pitta.

Gailis brought Florida to the board in the category of singles with a 6: 3, 6: 2 victory against Oboniye. Gailis kept control of the game for the entire game and presented UF 2-0.

Dudeney thought the momentum for the UF and defeated Carolina Troiano 6-2, 6: 2 to bring the gators closer to the finish line. Dudeney's victory on Court Two marked her second day after she won her double game next to Spee.

Neilson-Gatenby sealed the overall victory for Florida with a solid 6-4, 6-2 triumph against Alessia Tagliente three. Neilson-Gatby's victory secured the 4-0-sweep over the state of Mississippi.

The remaining games were unfinished when Florida achieved victory in Starkville. Daubnerova fought Pitta and fell 7: 5 in the first set, but in the second with 3: 1 the lead when the game was stopped. Spee had a strong start against Clemens and took the first set 6-1 before lagging behind in the second 2-4. Finally Oliveras held a close lead ahead of Di Genova, won a tight first set with 7: 6 and led 1-0 in the second 1-0 when the game was called in favor of the Gators.
