Championship Gold will return to Hardwood in Gainesville, Florida for the first time in 11 years, when No. 4 Florida Gators won her trip by winning the Sec-Tournament 2025, 86-77, via voluntary Tennessee No. 8. The Gators have conquered their fourth SEC tournament title in the program history and only since 2014 a glove of opponents on the way to increasing the trophy on Sunday afternoon.

Florida (30-4) has followed the leadership of head coach Todd Golden against the other three best teams in the SEC with road victories against Auburn and Alabama, the SEC tournament victory against Bama and Tennessee and a home win against the volunteers with a street against their long-term areas, 5: 1.

The Gators will now wait for a decision by the NCAA Men's Division I selection committee whether they are simply a seed no. 1 in the NCAA tournament 2025, or possibly number 1, which slips their dominance of their dominance and the Tigers at the end of the season by losing three of their last four games.

Before that comes into play, we take a look at what went down on Sunday when Florida raised his first trophy with some Fastbreak snack pathways for eleven years.

It was over when … The Junior Guard Denzel Aberdeen drove into the rack with a difficult layup to bring the Gators by 10 points with 2 minutes with 2 minutes. Redshirt Senior G Alijah Martin finally followed with an enormous Fastbreak Slam Dunk to drive up for 12 points and to bring the game out of reach.

Florida shortly used a 6-0 run from the halftime to take over a lead of 13 points, which it retained until the middle of the period when the doors fell off. Tennessee was increased by a roaring amount and used a missed point blank layup and sales to compete an 8-0 run and reduce its deficit to five points within 9 minutes. Five from the second striker Thomas Hagh, including a triple from the tip of the key, as well as a few free throws from Senior Guard Will Richard, created an 8-0 run, the UF with 4:22 on a game with 14 points with 4: 22. It could hold on from there.

Focus on the first half: Florida took his first tour with a 7-0 run in the early phases of the game before scored a 9-1 goal to find an eight points. Richard drained his third 3 pointer of the early to bring the gators into a 12-point advantage with 5 minutes until the break. Tennessee landed the deficit in half before Aberdeen hit a triple tri triple to drive up nine at halftime.

Exceptional efforts: Clayton was again inefficient, but he still remained the straw that called the drink for the Gator and 22 points with 7 out of 18 shootings with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and only 2 fouls. Richard scored almost his entire goal in the first half, but was strong in the charity strip (8 out of 8 for free throws) to end with 17 points. Martin went 0 out of 5 from the city center of 5, scored 10 points, while Aberdeen scored 9 points in 20 minutes without sales.

Hagh and other Alex Condon colleagues were similarly inefficient (6 out of 15 together), but they scored 24 points and 15 rebounds, while they met 11 out of 13 Gimmies, many late in the game during the decisive routes. The second center of Rueben Chinyelus presence in the box points was limited, but it was clearly influenced at both ends of the square during the entire competition.

Opportunities & ends: Florida won his fourth SEC tournament championship (2005-07, 2014, 2025) and is now in the final in the modern era 5-6. Against the three other best teams of the Sec … the Gators improved under Golden when at half-time (25: 0 this season) with 5 minutes left (28: 0), 51-10, if they exceed an opponent (24: 3), and with an opponent (24: 3), at 41-15, if they are more turnover (21-1-1) (21-1) (21-1) (21-1). Shooting 75% or better out of the free-wire line (12-1) and 47-16 when 4+ players achieve in double-digit numbers (21-2) … Clayton extended his program record in his 55th game in a row and made a 3 pointer

Sunday marked a rare competition in which Florida won despite the outside change (20-23, 7-1), was equipped from the field (8-26, 3-3) and was exceeded by the bank (28-18, 11-4) (28-18, 11-4)

What it means: As again and again this season, the Gators won a game in which they did not necessarily play their best, but still decidedly ended in front of an opponent. Florida only shot 42.6% from the field and 33.3% from the city center, but had the second best freewurfl shooting efforts of the season and met 89.3% of his attempts. UF limited sales (eight) and held the lead for the last 35:22 of the game.

The gators have put together a resume that should not be controversial. Florida improved to 11-4 against Quadrant 1 opponent, 20-4 against the first two quadrants. It will be one of the top fours in the net ranking list and is easily number 2. A No. 1 seed is almost decided in the ranking of Kenpom.com, but UF should be in conversation as No. 1 overall team in March Madness, since they not only the quality of its victories, but also the dominance and circumstances they surround, in view of the quality of the victory.

What's next? The Gators are expected from the NCAA basketball committee of the NCAA Division I, where they are placed in the NCAA tournament 2025. Florida will play a game in the first round on Thursday or Friday.
