Flowrestling night in America: live updates from the 13-game card

The gazette offers audio versions of articles with Ituread. Some words can be pronounced wrong.

Coralville -The special event comprises a total of three high school fights, two women's games and eight men's fights.

I will have updates from most games. I will sometimes have to chase after interviews, but try to be back to update everyone.

To be in the arena before things start, there is a different mood than many wrestling. I assume that the “Beat the Street” series has a similar atmosphere, but here is a smooth party atmosphere. I dig it.

Now to the main event

59.5 kg: Spencer Lee vs. Masanosuke Ono

Lee comes from the crowd to the Pokemon theme and loud roaring. It is located in a black and gold singe, while ono is in a golden singleet.

Ono initially strikes the step. Lee encouraged to show more action. Shortly afterwards Ono forces another step for 2: 0 in the lead.

The action on the edge leads to a third step and Ono leads, 3: 0.

Ono leads 3-0 in the break. I am not sure what happened, what the crowd has boasted. Tom Brands seemed a bit unhappy after the break.

Ono asked to be passive. Caution, call and Lee with one point. He pulls within 3-1. 1:55 go now.

Ono with a nice Sweep -Single, but Lee counters and refers to put ono. No points. Another caution and 1 pulls Lee within one point. Ono stops to win, 3-2.

76 kg: David Carr Dec. Daichi Takatani, 10-7

David Carr with a big victory against the Olympic silver medalist Takatani, who defeated Kyle Dake. Carr stated early and ended up with his lead. Takatani also very gracious in defeat. He got applause from the crowd.

Very impressive performance by Carr.

92 kg: Zahid Valencia vs. Trent Hidlay

Zahid was one of my favorites that he could watch in Arizona during his time. Had loved him to see him and Brooks live again. We will see the challenge that Hidlay presented.

Valencia with the opening and 2-0 lead. Valencia leaves a step after the first period. Not much measures in this first period.

Valencia adds two late takedowns for a 7-0 win.

72 kg: Bryce Andonian vs. Austin Gomez

Gomez was placed on the clock and then achieved the exposure of the front headlock position. It applies until the end of the first with Gomez with 2: 0. Gomez with a takedown and two more at the beginning of the first.

Scramble leads to exposure or takedown, but a step out and 5-0 lead. Gomez with a takedown and a 7-0 lead.

Gomez ends with a takedown and an intestinal key. He wins 11-0.

62 kg: Austin Desanto vs. Seth Gross

Desanto is a former all-American Hawkeye and a member of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club. Gross started in Iowa before going to Sdsu and Wiscosnin. Desanto comes to “wild thing” and I like it.

The gross forcing a step for a 1-0 lead. Desanto in a single one and increases the leg, but may have lost the way where he was and emerges. Gross leads 2-0.

Flood on the edge at the end of the first, but no points. Gross leads 2-0 during the break.

Desanto attacks, but great can hand it over and then exposes Desanto's back of 4: 0 in the lead. It makes you big again after a restart and then adds four points for 10: 0 technologies.

More closely than the score would show. Some good refugees. Large is smart and was able to withdraw neutral Exprosores late.

I was only at the top of the latest Nate Jackson vs. Kennedy Monday at 86 kg is good to start this way.

Jackson with a nice single and a quick finish for a takedown and 2-0 in the opening minute.

Jackson shoots in and comes to a body cock, but it is Monday that can block the knee and record Jackson Feet to Back for four points.

Jackson reacts with Step Out and Takedown. Monday with one step. 5-5 with just more than a minute in the first tied.

Jackson Up, 7-5, during the break.

Monday shoots in, but Jackson counters for a takedown (almost an exposure) for a lead of 9 to 5.

Fun match with a lot of action. Nate Jackson wins, 11-7.

The first match is Ethan Sum from West BranchPhrey against Cruzer Dominguez. Humphrey took the wrestling tournament in class 1a State Wrestling in the Moines in third place last week.

Dominguez first gets out with one step and then adds a takedown with two more curves for a 7-0 lead. Dominguez with a few more curves for a technical superiority of 11: 0.

Next comes Jake Knight from Bettendorf against Abdi Unle. Ritter takes off a takedown from the pipe. After restarting on the feet of knights with a large 4-point throw for a 6-0 lead.

Unle (2 times Fargo AA and 2-time Nebraska Champ) answered with one step and a takedown answered. 6-3 knights.

Ritter ceded with a high step. He added two exposure, but Unle fought back for a few curves and now it is 10-8 knights during the break.

The amount is pretty reserved. Not a full house. About half full, but difficult to be meaningful because there are people who see from the railing and not sitting.

Unle with a takedown with a minute for 11-10 lead. A lot of torque on one tip, but knight prevents a curve. Back on foot for: 35

Knight with a curve from a front headlock in the last seconds for a 12-11 victory. What a finish?!

Lincoln Jipp with technical superiority by Riley Johnson. He achieved four with one meter-to-back movement early and dominated from there, ending it with another 4-point train. The challenge was unsuccessful and led to another point for Jipp in a 14-0 victory.

That makes it for the high school games. Nathan Tomasello and Daniel Deshazer will start the main ticket.

Bo Bassett turned to the audience dominated by Hawkeye. Promises to always do his best and plans to illuminate the scoreboard for the Hawkeye fans.

Trailer for the Doc “Ladyhawks: The first season” looks pretty convincing.

62 kg: Daniel Deshazer vs. Nathan Tomasello

Tomasello with an opening deduction for 2-0 in the lead. Deshazer put on the clock. Hits in the 30-second route and Tomasello not with one point, which gives him a 3-0 advantage during the break.

Tomasello was challenged for passivity, but then replied with a takedown and a 5-0 lead. Tomasello added another late Takedown for a 7-0 win.

97 kg: Marcus Coleman vs. Jay Aiello

The former two-time all-American and Ames State Champion of the state of Iowa State, Marcus Coleman, against Jay Aiello, who is a U20 World Team member. Aiello with pennsylvania rtc. Coleman training with cyclone wrestling club.

Coleman on the clock. Not a point so that Aiello achieves a point and adds a takedown and two to exposure. Coleman reversal and Aiello leads, 5-1.

Aiello with a thrust and he leads after the first 6: 1.

The crowd is really tame. I expected more of the crowd. Mostly steamed murmurs, except when Bader encouraged them to make noise and they did.

A little bit of air when Aiello gets two more exposure to increase his lead to 8-1. Aiello added a few more takedowns for a technical fall with 12: 1.

62 kg: Xochitl Mota-Pettis vs. Melanie Nahomi Jimenez

Our first women's game of the night. Jimenez with one and cuts over to achieve the first takedown. Jimenez leads 3: 1 during the break.

Jimenez shoots a double and drives Mota-Pettis on her back for four points. It takes over a 7-1 lead in the middle of the second period.

So it ends. Jimenez, who represents Mexico, with the victory.

57 kg: Amanda Martinez vs. Zeltzin Hernandez

Martinez with the first point and 1-0 lead. Hernandezx shot some attacks, but Martinez Defense fends off. Martinez leads 1-0 after the first period.

Hernandez with takedown and exposure for 4-1 lead.

After Hernandez has given up a jump output, he added two takedowns for 8-2 in the lead. Hernandez wins 8-2.
