Football opens the spring exercises on Tuesday on Tuesday

Miami – Fiu's football program, new under the direction of head coach Willie Simmons, will open on Tuesday, March 4, his spring practice -Slate 2025.

Spring exercises are planned for every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and summit on Saturday, April 5 at 3 p.m. in the South Dade Kia Field in the Pitbull Stadium, with the spring game from FIU.

The campus training sessions take place on the FIU soccer fields that are next to the south side of the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

Practices are not accessible to the public; However, Panther Club members can take part as a member scope. Panther Club members are asked to contact Joey Corey (jmcorey@fiu.edu) or Chaz Cheeseboro (ccheeb@fiu.edu) in advance to ensure that proper accommodations can be carried out.

The practice times on Tuesday and Thursday will have a start from 9 a.m., while the exercises start on Saturday at 10 a.m. and Thursday. The media are admitted for the last 30 minutes of training at 11 a.m., with the interviews for requested trainers and student athletes start at around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at 12 and 12:30 p.m.

Parking can be achieved on the west side of the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on the property 10.

Fiu football jumping practice media information

Video/photos are prohibited during all FIU football -spring training units with the exception of media with registration information.

All media members who want to take on video or photos during the FIU spring training practice must contact the FIU Athletic Communications Office before arriving in order to receive a media message in order to cover any practice.
