Former Boston Red Sox, New York Yanke's viral for a strange hit exercise

The outfield of Free Agent Agent Alex Verdugo confused some on the Internet when the video was spread by him, who worked on one …. Meet drill.

The video from Verdugo, which a t -shirt completes while it was balanced on an Accord style mat, was shared by the barstool baseball account.

You can see it below:

One can only assume that Verdugo is working on his balance and straightening his head and concentrating on the contact point, but admittedly we have never seen it before.

The 28-year-old Verdugo spent eight years in the big leagues with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. He was the heart of the trade return for Mookie Betts when he went from Boston to La.

Verdugo is for a lifetime. During the Covid 2020 season, he met a career .308, but his average has dropped every year since then. After a trade from Boston, he only met .233 with the Yankees in 2024. His career height in Homers is 13, which he did in three different seasons.

At this point, Verdugo's best bet to find a job could wait for someone to be hurt and that a team is as desperate. With his age and experience, it is still surprising that he has not yet found a job.

Verdugo also represented Team Mexico at the World Baseball Classic, as this equipment shows in this video.

The opening day for the big leagues is scheduled for March 27th.
