Fort Smith Public School is announced by a new Northside football coach

“I am thrilled to start this trip to build this program on and outside the field into a leading winner,” said Dom Mirocke.

Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Public Schools (FSPS) hired Dom Mirocke as the next head coach of the Northside High School, the district said on February 24th.

With 15 years of experience in Collegiate Football of Division I and II, Mirocke worked in various coaching positions with the Arkansas Tech University and Henderson State University. The district said that he had produced 11 all-Conference wide nacks and two all-Americans.

“We have found an outstanding candidate, coach Dom Mirocke, with expertise on paper and experience at College level, which allows our children to be successful on the next level,” said Michael Beaumont, director of athletics and activities from FSPS.

While the district said they were confident that Mirocke's team can lead the Northside team, Mirocke said he was ready to get started.

“It is humble and exciting to be selected to conduct such a historical and traditional program, and I am happy to start this trip to convert this program into a leading winner on and off the field,” said Mirocke. “My family and I look forward to being part of the Fort Smith community!”

This attitude is carried out after the former trainer, Felix Curry, was assigned a non -coal position within the district at the end of 2024. Curry has worked as head coach of the Northside boss and campus sports director since 2022.
