Four arrested in relation to an officer who was shot in Sandy Creek Apartments in Bryan

Bryan, Texas (KBTX) – On Saturday at around 8 p.m. Bryan Police reacted to a shootout in the Sandy Point RD in the Sandy Creek apartment complex.

A Bryan officer saw the 18-year-old Quincy McMiller showed a pistol. The officer then turned to Quincy, who shot out of a vehicle and hit the officer at the end.

At the time of the shootout, there were three other people in the car with Quincy. All suspects fled from the scene into the nearby districts that prompted a search for several agencies.

The four suspects were hidden in a bush thanks to a police drone. All four were arrested. Quincy was charged with a fatal weapon and two cases of fatal behavior for the discharge of a firearm due to serious bodily harm.

Qwanell McMiller was arrested and the withdrawn arrested. Two young people were also among the arrests in relation to the shootout. Both were charged because of the ability of the arrest, and one is also faced before a drug possession load.

The injured officer was brought to a local medical facility for treatment and later released.

Bryan PD is still investigating.
