Game No. 65 Summary: Good start, bad finish

Be prepared for the rest of the season for many ups and downs. We are in the middle of the playoff race and the blue jackets drive with a roller coaster ride with a good and bad game. They are currently in a little radio. While the teams who followed the jackets took care of their business, the Vegas Golden Knights came nationwide nationwide and played the spoiler 4: 0.

1. Period

Opportunity overturned to Columbus in the first five minutes. There was a feeling of urgency for the jackets that were not seen against the devils.

Barbashev went to the box to stumble to give the jackets their first power game. Captain Boone Jenner was new in the first unit. Unfortunately there was not much to do for both units. There was a certain possession and a few shots, but nothing high.

The Kuraly line, which Christian Fischer belonged to in his debut in Columbus, had several close opportunities after the power game. Hill could keep the puck out of the net.

Danforth ended the Columbus rule (attempts at the firing were 16-0) when he started to stumble. He reached for a puck that he shouldn't have and let his stick catch between the legs of a golden knight. The penalty was wearing a great job until Vegas caught her under the Hashes without a defender. A Bang Bang game gave them the lead. Without looking at the statistics, it has been so terrible lately.

VGK PP target 1-0: Roy (Eichel, Hertl) 12:00

Vegas achieved the game's first shooting.

Mateychuk pulled a high stick to give the jackets a four -minute power game. Vegas made a two-against-one short hand, and Elvis had absolutely robbed Roy from his second night.

Voronko hit the post, but that was the closest jacket. The special teams from Columbus have not developed well lately.

Saad met right in front of the net when he left Provorov and got his stick on a rebound. They were not great games for Provorov.

VGK-TOR 2-0: Saad (Smith, Roy) 19:01

The jackets dominated everywhere on the scoreboard in the first period.

2. Period

Vegas came out and turned the tables to start the second. The jackets could not win any swing. To make things worse, Fabbro went on interference shortly before the first television timeout.

This time the kill was successful. Zar even managed a shorthand chance, but he didn't work Hill to make the rescue.

The game lasted 3-0 when Dorofeyev Elvis' Fünfloch defeated from the left Faceoff point.

VGK-Ziel 3-0: Dorofeyev (Hertl, Saad) 12:17

It was a pretty bad period, but Vegas used a chance to score while Hill continued to hinder the jackets.

3. Period

During this time, not much was brewed for the jackets.

After seven minutes, Fabbro Hertl let off directly in Elvis. He received two minutes to stumble and probably a dinner owed to Elvis.

Pietrangelo stole the empty network to make it 4-0.

Last thoughts

After the jackets played well after 4 nations, they fell from a cliff. You have lost four of your last five and will lose your Wild Card spot if you don't win on Saturday.

The strength of the schedule will be a problem. Teams such as the Golden Knights, Panthers and Lightning can easily uncover Columbus' lack of forward depth. Monahan and Seilinger will eventually arrive for reinforcement, but until then it is difficult to step water.

The defensive game of this team has returned. Provorov in particular has been very bad lately. Special teams were also a problem. The power play was poor and it feels as if the penalty killing kill can give up at least one goal for each game.
