According to a contribution on social media, the fire brigade of St. Johns County reacted to the 100 block of Cape San Blas Way at around 11:00 a.m., where they found a truck with a trailer attached to the back when they arrived.

After a scene evaluation, it was found that the driver had suffered from a medical emergency. An immediate supply was provided, where they were taken to a local hospital shortly afterwards.

SJCFD later discovered that the driver had hit the company's natural gas line and caused a gas leaf. In addition to Teco, Hazmat crews had worked to secure the leak while the structural integrity of the house was evaluated.
