Gaston County's police are examining fatal shootout, attack near the Gobles Street

The police found a car with two victims inside – one dead man and another who was injured in an attack.

Gastonia, NC – one person was found as shot, and another person had injuries from attacks, which, according to the police authority, led to an investigation.

The police found a car near the intersection of the York Highway and the Hudson Boulevard with two victims inside – one of the gunshot wounds and another who was injured in an attack.

The two were originally injured in the Gable Street area, the police said.

The surviving victim was brought to the Caromont Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. The police hold back the identity of both victims at this time.

This remains an active examination. The police said they could publish additional information as soon as they are available.
