Gboard meets 10 billion downloads and an update mixes its linkage user interface together

Google Gboard from Google recently reached a large milestone when it crossed 10 billion downloads in the Play Store.
According to reports, the company has also transferred a small server-side update to GOGE and changed its link user interface to Android.
A large Gboard update came through the emoji kitchen last summer with “Emoji sticker combinations”.

Gboard usually slides under the radar; However, this can no longer be done according to significant performance.

As discovered by 9to5Google, Google's Gboarder app recently crossed 10 billion downloads in the Play Store. The details of the app in the shop states in June 2013, but the publication again appears to be renamed. The app was officially known as the “Google keyboard”. A few years later, the company renamed it in “Gboard” after he had passed several smaller optimizations and updates in the past nine years.

The article also shows the performance of Gboard together with other Google apps to reach 10 billion downloads such as YouTube, photos, Google Mail and Maps.

In the publication, Google discovered a small UI change for Gboard that mixes its previous design language. Discovered in version 14.9, the Gboard button that opens the complete link menu, the options that users are in the line above the keyboard is in line.

It was noted that currently (when the update has arrived), the link button offers a colored background that holds the color scheme of your Android device. This color disappears with V14.9 and drops the filled boxes into a black or white color. The color shift of the latter depends on whether they are in light or dark mode.

While the link is no longer contained in a circular housing such as the microphone symbol, the button mixes with the remaining “favorite” abbreviations above the keyboard.

The contribution says that this is a server -side update, which means that it can take some time until everyone sees it. Android Central discovered this update today, so it shouldn't take long for it to be widespread.

One of the outstanding updates for Gboard came last summer when Google dropped its feature drop of the June feature. In particular, the update hit the emoji kitchen and had the user emojis combined for a new creation. These are not to be used as typical emojis in texts, but as a large sticker. The “Emoji sticker combinations” merge two selected emojis that are displayed in the selection in the recommended field.

The company also solved a typing problem on larger screen devices such as leaflets with Gord. With the update of the app, users can divide it into two halves so that it facilitates your thumb to reach the keys you need without complaints.

As a rule, there are subtle updates for apps such as Gord in the entire service life of an operating system and Google is already pushing for Android 16. The next large operating company has entered Beta 2 recently, so that it occurs on the planned version of the Q2 2025 on schedule. Perhaps there will be more for Gboard in the street with Google.
