Gene Hackman's house had little gas leak, but it was not fatal, the examination concludes

The most recent report from the investigation of the death of Gene Hackman showed that there was minor gas leaks in his house, but not enough to be fatal to the residents.

The actor was found dead with his wife Betsy Arakawa and his dog on Wednesday afternoon (February 26) in the New Mexico City of Santa Fe Santa Fe New Mexican.

The outlet also reported that the authorities stated that there was no direct indication of a bad game. No cause of death was made available together with a possible death. On Thursday (February 27th) it was decided that the deaths were treated as “suspicious” according to an affidavit of the search command.

There was some speculation that the couple had died by gas leaks due to carbon monoxide poisoning, but the authorities were quickly as a potential cause.

“There were no significant results. NMGC exhibited five red tags. A red label was on one of the oven burners for a tiny leak (0.33 percent – no fatal amount), ”the release showed. “The other four red tags were violations of code enforcement -not with gas leaks or carbon monoxide -an to a hot water loader and gas blocker that are installed in three fireplaces.”

The Sheriff's office has confirmed that the results are “not assumed that they are a factor for the death of Gene Hackman, Betsy Arakawa or her dog”, although the report “For examination” was sent to the medical investigator's office.

After Hackman's death, tribute from the entire film industry came, with the close friend and the former co-star Dustin Hoffman say by press release: “I already miss him”.
