Generator Fire Forces Abrupte End of ABC reporting on Auburn-Kentucky game

On Saturday, College basketball fans all over the country decided to play a quality on Saturday afternoon between Auburn No. 1 and Kentucky No. 17.

However, the cover was not according to plan.

In the second half of the later win of the tigers from 94 to 78, ABC was abruptly broken off from the game -from another college game to NHL reporting. The switch – at the time for “technical difficulties” – surprises the fans.

After the game was over, a Wildcats spokesman shared an explanation with Ryan Black of (Louisville) Courier journal outlined what happened.

“The radio production team had technical difficulties in the second half of the game,” they said. “There was a fire that performed the ABC generator equipment that supplies its production truck with electricity. It was quickly deleted, but it made the round feed lost the power supply.”

For Kentucky fans who were exposed to Auburn Guard Miles Kelly's nine three-point three-way, the end of the game may have been a relief.
