After a coarse run in the Sec, Georgia won his greatest victory of the season on Tuesday evening.

The bulldogs, after they had built up a massive lead in the first half, stopped on route No. 3 Florida 88-83. This triggered a big celebration in the Stegeman Coliseum. It was Georgia's first victory against a top 3 opponent since 2004 and her third quad 1 win of the season.

Georgia led almost all the way on Tuesday evening and opened the game with a massive 39:13 tear. This 26-point lead went down slightly at halftime, although the Bulldogs still penetrated the changing room with a lead of 16 points.

Florida slowly blown away on this tour in the second half and a 13: 0 in the last few minutes. However, Georgia quickly fended off this comeback and recaptured the lead almost immediately after Blue Cain had drilled a perfect 3 pointer out of victory to seal the five-point victory.

Silas Demary led the Bulldogs with 21 points in victory. Asa Newell added 15 points and eight rebounds, and Cain ended with 12 points and six rebounds. His last 3 pointer was his only attempt behind the bow at night.

Will Richard led Florida with 30 points and five rebounds. Walter Clayton Jr. added 18 points and was the only other player who hit double. The Gators shot only 18 out of 29 from the free -wing line.

The loss was the first for Florida since he was on the No. 8 Tennessee at the beginning of this month. The Gators are now sitting at 24-4 in the season. The loss moves to third place in the conference rating, behind the upper rank from Auburn and No. 6 Alabama.

While Florida is no longer out of the way, the loss can bring the SEC title of the regular season out of reach. The Gators will host No. 12 in Texas A&M next Saturday before closing the regular season with Alabama and Ole Miss next week.

Georgia, who entered the night with only 4-10 in the conference game, has a record of 17: 11 this season. The victory achieved a four-game loss from Skid and undoubtedly kept the Bulldogs in dispute to earn one of the last places in the NCAA tournament. They were listed in the “Next Four Out” section of the ESPN analyst Joe Lunardi's sham clip for Tuesday morning.

It will take a strong departure, including one or two major victories at the SEC tournament in Nashville to take them there, but the bulldogs finally have their signatures. Your first NCAA tournament offer has been in sight for a decade.
