Georgia experiences two earthquakes in one day

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Tuesday, Georgia experienced two earthquakes in one day.

The first earthquake happened in northwest Georgia around 8:00 a.m on Tuesday.

The U.S. Geological Survey website shows it was a magnitude 2.5 quake near Menlo, Georgia in Chattooga County.

The other happened in Middle Georgia around 6:00pm near Cochran in Bleckley County. That was a magnitude 2.4.

There are no reports of damage from either quake.
