Georgia Football falls back with a 4-star corner

This is the season on the recruitment path in which the recruits begin to narrow down who are their top schools in their recruitment. We also learn which teams trenders in every recruitment and whether Georgia Football is committed to commitments.

While it was over a month since Kirby Smart and Georgia deserved a commitment, they have made a lot of progress with many recruits across the country. However, not every recruitment in Georgia's path has gone, and Chad Simmons from On3 recently shared an unfortunate update with one of the best destinations in Georgia in Corn.

4-star CB Chauncey Kennon

Chauncey Kennon is a four-star corner of Sarasota, Fl. According to the On3 industry ranking, Kennon is the country's overall player. He is also the No. 9 player from Florida and No. 9 corner in recruitment class 2026.

Kennon has announced five schools that he wants to make official visits later this summer, and Georgia will get one of these visits. Kennon is also visited in Florida State, Miami (FL), Auburn and LSU.

Simmons also reported in the article above that a team tends to recruit. This information is limited to On3 subscribers by clicking on the link in the article above, but navigating to Kennons On3 profile gives us some Intel. His profile shows that On3 Florida State has the current leading provider of this recruitment and gives them a chance of winning 33.5 percent.

This percentage is clearly not very high. This means that Georgia and every school still have a great chance in this recruitment to catch up with this recruitment. The best chance for UGA to do this is that Kennon will make his official visit to Athens on June 6, so hopefully wise and his employees can meet a Homerun during this visit.
