Georgia House passes school safety at school for 6 months after Apalachee mass shootings WSB-TV channel 2

Atlanta – Six months after the shootings at the Apalachee High School had left four dead, the Georgia house said goodbye to two bills that aimed at security and reduction of threats and violence at the schools in Georgia.

The school security package was a big legislative goal for the Republican House of Republican, Jon Burns.

In fact, he only wrote a few days after the shootout, in which he described his plan to solve these problems.

Burns package includes creating a state database via GEMA to pursue potential threats to schools. The students can call anonymously to report concerns and concerns.
