Georgia Tech Football adds three other employees – Football – Georgia Tech yellow jackets

Darius Eubanks – LineBacker

As a senior citizen, he was a selection of the first team conference and contributed to leading the Eagles in his four seasons in Georgia Southern to three NCAA Division I FCS semi-final.

He played four seasons (2013-16) in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaners.

After completing his NFL career in 2017, the defensive line graduate at Arkansas became a coaching as an assistant to the defensive line graduate. He then spent three seasons in Samford, first as a security coach in 2018 and 2019, then as a coach of the defensive Backs Coach and Co-Special team coordinator during the Covid 19-Delayed season with 19-delayed Spring 2021.

In 2021 he moved to Atlanta and the FBS rank as a security coach in the state of Georgia before a season was a defensive backpacks trainer at Liberty (2022). His experience also includes a scholarship as a defensive assistant (ILB/OLB) with the Miami Dolphins of the NFL in 2024.

A total of five all-Conference winners, an FCS All-American, trained three players who played in the top 15 in the top 15 in the Interceptions and five who played in the NFL. He also contributed to leading his teams to Bowl games in all four seasons of his coaching career at FBS level.

In 2013, Eubanks completed in Georgia Southern with a bachelor's degree in sports management.

Brendan Farrell – senior strategist for special teams and game management

As a player, Farrell was a linebacker from 1996 to 1999 and a security at Notre Dame, where he made twice in English and history. He acquired a master in sports management from Wayne State.

He and his wife Kasia have three sons – TJ, Gabriel and Patrick.

Alex Mathis – managing director of recruitment

With deep relationships with the Georgia High School ranks and experience as a top recruitment agent at the Power Four level, Alex Mathis Georgia Tech Football as Executive Director of Yellow Jackets for Recruitment.

Mathis comes from the UCF, where he was Tech for three years as deputy director of the player (2022-23). During his time at the UCF he helped the Knights three top 40 recruitment classes (No. 37 in 2022, No. 38 in 2023 and No. 34 in 2024, so loud 247sports).
