Girl Scouts of Florida Host Capitol Day

Tallahassee, Fla. (WCTV) – Girl Scouts of Florida gathered on Wednesday in front of the National Girl Scout Day.

Girl Scouts also honored state leaders during a pinning ceremony to thank them for their commitment to enable young girls with special reversal needles.

“The Capitol Day is reminiscent of the power of the advocacy of interests and the importance of increasing our voices for Florida's girls,” said Chelsea Wilkerson, President and CEO of Girl Scouts of Florida Association by Girl Scouts of Tropical. “We endeavor to ensure that every girl has a safe, nourishing place to learn, lead and grow into the Changemacher of tomorrow.”
