'Go, go' offensive: Sacramento State is waiting for the spring football for a new coach

It is a new era for the Sacramento State football team.

Sacramento, California – Spring Football is officially here and the Hornet Stadium buzzes!

“The joy and the energy today were great,” said Brennan Marion, head coach of the boss. “I am only happy about the opportunity to get them rolling.”

It is the first day of spring football training, and the players endeavored to get back on the rust.

“Everyone is hungry,” said Senior Keith Conley. “Hungry not even the word. We are hungry. We have set countless hours for it. We are ready to really play ball.”

Thanks to the takeover of Coach Marion, it is one of the most expected seasons in recent times. He is the innovator of the “go-go offensive” and for those who ask themselves with this crime, he has her answer.

“It is quick, violent, lots of energy. People who fly around and play big games,” said Marion.

“The defense will surely mess up,” said Sophomore Jose Soto. “Even if you look at film and saw how UNLV fought good teams. We will certainly do that to the FCS schools.”

One thing that you will notice this year are all new faces, including new players and coaches. One of these new players is Keith Conley, who changed from UNLV, and he came in Sacramento State for a reason: “To winged championships”.

“Just like that. Get a championship. Lead this team to a ring,” said Conley.

With the endeavors of the state of Sacramento, the FBS, the highest level of college football, to join the athletes this year.

“With the rumors to go to FBS and we are able to appear at the next level, I have the feeling that we have a lot of weight on our shoulders, but I have the feeling that we have the work we put together in the low season,” said Soto. “We are all brothers. We will take over all the adversities that come in our way this season and we are ready for it.”

And coach Marion's message to the fans: “Get ready, strap yourself on. It will be fun.”

The Hornets complete spring football with their spring game on Sunday, April 13th.
