Govols247 Podcast: Tennessee Football Spring Preview

Looking for a discussion about one Tennessee Football jumping camp that will just start?

There is a Govols247 podcast.

Ryan Callahan von Govols247 (from his household operating center) and Patrick Brown (from a location that is not mentioned) met the magic of the Internet to summarize the greatest news from Tennesses Offseason from Tennessee and build the stage for the Spring Camp, which is supposed to begin early Friday morning in Haslam Field.

Tennessee Football offsasons in the Josh Heupel Era is usually largely drama-free, at least compared to some previous regimes in Knoxville, but obviously some interesting things have happened since the college football playoff loss of the Vols during later-national champion Ohio state. The Vols had a few improvements to their coaching team, if not as many as some suspected. There were transfer portal descents and additions, including an interesting holdout situation this spring from the start -cornerback Rickey Gibson III. Some of these things had to be discussed and they were discussed.

Discussions for the spring camp later in the episode, and there was a lot to discuss there, as there will be many new faces and many familiar faces in larger roles for the Vols, especially on the offensive, which was led by the return of the starting quarters Nico Iamaleava. Tennessee will have a completely different looking offensive line, and the VOLs also have a refreshing deck of options at Wide Receiver, and everything about the crime will look different without the star going back Dylan Sampson. There will also be new pieces in defense, but not so many. But some of the late players on this side of the ball were productive – and in some cases very productive – so that things look different in places on this side of the ball.

This spring, several newcomers will be on the field, and many of them will be discussed. Five-star-offensive stackle David Sanders Jr. Is not the only newcomer to be discussed, but obviously he discussed a good deal.

So … as always there was a lot to discuss, and a lot was discussed in this episode.

The next Govols247 podcast will be released on Thursday, unless Big Breaking News occurs before this point.
