Grant Nelson injury -update after Alabama Basketball loses in the SEC tournament against Florida

Grant Nelson suffered a knee injury to Florida, said Alabama coach Nate Oats after the game.

Hafer said you are not yet sure what it is, but no longer believes that it is an ACL injury, “or something”.

“Hopefully we will bring him back for the first round of the NCAA tournament.”

Nelson left late in the first half with a injury to the left leg at the defeat of 104-82 against Florida on Saturday in the Sec-Tournament semi-final. He returned to the bench in the second half, but did not play again.

Nelson was dominant in the first half when he played. He scored nine points, including a triple, won three rebounds, achieved an assist, a block and a steal over 10 minutes.

Alabama only looked two points at half -time, with Nelson playing most of it. Then Florida took over on the floor in the second half without Nelson.

Next, Alabama will learn his March Madness fate on Sunday. The Crimson Tide is expected to be a seed No. 2 in the NCAA tournament.
