Martini competes to the coaching team after having spent two seasons as a LineBackers coach with Charlotte. With the 49s he trained the first team all-AAC linacker Demetrius Knight II. In 2024, Linebacker Reid Williford led the team with 77 tackles and two sacks.
“We are happy to welcome Greer Martini in Western Michigan and the Bronco Brotherhood as our LineBacker coach,” said Taylor. “Greer brings an infectious enthusiasm and a relentless work morality into our program as well as a strong commitment to the development of young men and outside the field.
Before his time in Charlotte, Greer was an assistant for graduates at the LSU under Brian Kelley during the 2022 season. It also served as an assistant for quality control in Vanderbilt in 2021 under Clark Lea.

Martini was a four -year letter winner at Notre Dame, played 49 career games and made 190 Tackles. During his senior season, he was a captain and semi -finalist for the prestigious Campbell Award. After college, he spent a season in the Green Bay Packers Praxis squad. Martini also spent time with the Minnesota Vikings, the Dallas Renegades of the XLF and the Salt Lake Hengions of the Alliance of American football.
Martini acquired a degree in Finance from Notre Dame in 2018 and was selected by the ACC for the ACC Postgraduate scholarship.
