Griz Football changes for the spring game on April 11th in Washington-Grizzly | Montana Grizzlies

Missoula, Mont. -The 2025 Griz Football Spring Game is planned for Friday, April 11th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Washington Grizzly Stadium.

Montana's spring season began on Monday with three weekly exercises that led to the spring game, with a break for spring vacation. This spring also includes the Pro day on the morning of April 3, when many alumni from Montana Griz return to demonstrate their skills.

Players and trainers strive to be back on the field, especially with the advantage that they practice interior. The Griz chief football coach Bobby Hauck expressed his enthusiasm and said: “Well, you know, we always look forward to coming back on the field. You know that we work a lot in the calendar year to play football. And so it is always great to be out here and get the chance to improve.”

The Senior Wide Receiver Drew Deck informed his excitement and said: “Feel good, feels good. To get ready with winter ownership apartments and just come here with the boys. All boys are pretty excited, funny on the first day.”

The Senior LineBacker Geno Leonard added: “It is excited, you know, I mean, you know that you have many new faces, what is fantastic. You know that we got the same group of core core, but it is good to get everyone on the same lawn. Especially in the bladder we have now, it is a lot of fun.”

Trainer Hauck emphasized the advantages of practicing inside and said: “Well, it is nice not to worry about the planting of the field. You know that you are here, it is raining out there now, and we don't have to worry that boys who do not concentrate or pay attention to what is said and what is done in the field. You know that this is a great gift.”

Deck repeated the feeling: “Oh, it's great, it's great. We are pretty blessed.
