Gurnee man Jorge Rogel dies after Waukegan shooting, in which another outdicorial chapel Funeral Home & Cremation Center was injured

Waukegan, Ill. (WLS) – One of two people shot in front of a funeral home North Suburban on Tuesday evening, the Coroner's office of Lake County said on Thursday.

Jorge Rogel, 22, from Gurnee was shot in the head in front of the commemoration institute at 6.45 p.m. & Cremation Center in the 1500 block of the Washington Street in Waukegan, said officials.

Rogel was brought to the Advocate Condell Medical Center in a critical condition.

He died on Wednesday evening, said the forensic doctor's office.

The Waukegan police previously said that another person had been shot, but should survive.

The police did not provide any additional information about the other person who was shot.

Details about the shootout are not yet known, but a person of interest has been identified, the police said.
