Jind: The Haryana police booked a police officer on Friday after a video with a baseball bat on social media platforms became viral. In particular, this incident occurred when three students who came from the village of Badhana in the district were on the way to take their class 12TH Exam and accidentally collides your car with the police officer.
In a police complaint submitted by one of the victims, said: “We come from the village of Badhana. Around 12 p.m. on February 27th we reached near the SD Senior Secondary School in Jind City to appear for class 12TH Test. When we parked our vehicle outside the school, another vehicle that came from behind hit our car. When we tried to stop it, the driver accelerated and raced away. We then followed the said vehicle, and the accused, who was in a police uniform, stopped the car in the back lanes of the Gohana Road near Kaushik Nagar. He suddenly took a stick out of the vehicle and attacked us. As a result, we suffered injuries to the head, shoulder, back and leg at five different points, and two areas had bruises. Some people who were nearby recorded a video about the incident, and my brother Sonu also made a video that is attached together with this complaint. A copy of the medical report is also attached. Therefore, we humbly demand strict steps against the defendant identified as Rajesh, who will be stored in the Ambala district as a chief constable in the IRB, ”he said.
After the incident, one of the students cannot sit properly and not eat for two days. The policeman was under the influence of alcohol. “Our children were traumatized by the police. We are calling for strict measures against the accused police officer, ”said family members.
