Hemlington Murder Investigation: Mann, 28, stabbed

A murder examination is in progress after a man was stabbed.

The 28-year-old suffered serious injuries in the attack, which is assumed shortly after midnight on a property in Fonteyn Court, Hemlington, Middlesbrough.

He was treated by paramedics, but died at the scene, said the Cleveland police.

The force has cordoned off from areas and the officials carry out home-to-house visits.

The police also check CCTV film material.

The leading investigative representative Matt Hollingsworth said that the officials were working to “identify and to hold who is responsible”.

“I am looking forward to everyone who was in the area in the time of the stitch and either saw what took place or has information,” he said.

“There will be an increased police presence with patrols in the area for their calming down, and I would encourage anyone who has concerns about speaking to an officer.”
