Here is the easiest way to download Android 16 Beta 3 on your pixel

Android 16 in Beta form today landed on a large milestone by reaching the platform stability. Android 16 Beta 3 is here and brings us a step closer to a stable publication in the coming months, probably on Google I/O in May.

Pixel device owner, you can now download Android 16 Beta 3 to see if something is new. Since we have already gone through a few beta builds, there may be no major changes, but we will only know if we have them on the device (what we do at this moment).

What is new in Android 16 Beta 3: On the developer side of things, Google shared some changes in beta-3. This new build brings with it Support for Auracast show Audio On Pixel 9 and Adds texts to contain outlines for a better contrast. The addition of Auracast supports compatible hearing aids and earphones in order to hear direct audio flows at public places such as airports, concerts and classrooms. The text of the text provides text areas with low eyesight (see below).

The other remarkable object is LAN network protection (LNP). This is a function that comes to a future Android publication, and it enables users to have more control over which apps can access devices in their local network. That actually sounds pretty useful.

And that's mostly from Google. This is also Beta 3 and we didn't expect any massive changes. There is always a chance that something will not be noticed in this announcement, so we will do our best to find them.

Android 16 beta 3 error deposits: With this build, Google has fixed a handful of errors in addition to these new functions. The most noteworthy are the first two to be listed below to fix excessive battery outflow and unexpected restarts. It is strange for those who have angry about a glance, it could now also be repaired.

  • In some cases, various problems were set, which led to excessive battery drainage. (Issue #396603519, issue #396757426, issue No. 400066003, issue #397088375)
  • Problems were determined that sometimes led to devices that were restarted unexpectedly. (Edition No. 400003800)
  • A problem was fixed in which the widget was outdated to show information about the Always-on display. (Edition No. 392132215)
  • Various other problems were fixed that influenced the system stability, performance and Bluetooth pairing.

Of course you could do that, Mr. Tech Guy, you just don't have to. At this point we are in the Android 16 beta program and the updates arrive regularly.
