The Hillsborough police have published a person of a person of interest while continuing to examine A Shoot who sent an officer To the hospital last weekend.

The shootout occurred shortly after 3:45 p.m. on February 22nd in a back parking lot of the Hillsborough police department.

The investigators said that a shooter had obtained access to a limited area and fired against an officer before taking a foot from the scene on foot.

Now the investigators ask for the help of the public to identify a person of interest who was seen shortly after the incident near the area.

Witnesses saw the person towards the south on El Camino near Carol, Cypress and Barroilhet in Burlingame around 5:30 p.m. that evening, the police said.

The police said the person seemed anxious and often looked back as if he were trying to avoid discovery.

The person of interest is described as a Hispanic man, about 25 to 27 years old, the police said. It is approximately 5'5 “up to 5'7” and physically fits with a short black hair and is cut clean.

The police believe that the person was wearing a black trucker hat, a black jacket of the type of windbreaker, dark-colored striking jeans with rhinestones on the rear bags and flat nike shows.

Everyone with information is asked to contact the Hillsborough Police Department. From the afternoon and evening of February 22, the department is also looking for surveillance cameras.

The police also ask everyone who remembers seeing someone in the area or an unknown vehicle nearby to report them.

The officer who was shot is expected to recover completely.
