Historical record cases and personal Best Record Highlight opening day by Sun Belt men's and women -Indo -lighting athletics championships

Birmingham, ala. – The DMR team from Marshall Women's DMR broke a 24-year meeting with a record when more than 175 student athletes recorded the personal best brands on the opening day of the athletics championships of the Sun Belt Conference for men and women in Birmingham Crossplex.

The morning opened the event with the Multis when the heptathlon completed the first four events while the women completed the pentathlon. Troys Kady Schwietz drove into the 800 m to close the pentathlon and took first place by 121 points in third place. Schwietz completed the 800 m in 2: 20.11 to win the heat and score 822 points. The junior recorded a personal best with 3,809 total points to collect the gold medal with a lead of six. Miranda Burgett in the state of Arkansas finished second with 3,803 points when Marshall's Lara Check received the bronze with 3,768 points. All three podiums were the best brands of the season.

During the first four events, Colby Eddowes won three of the four events to keep the field with 3,176 points. Easton Hammond from the state of Texas is currently in second place with 2,963 points with two second placements. Nic Glass from South Alabama sits in third place with 2,917 points to round off the top three.

In the weight throw of the women, Michelle Ogbemudia from Arkansas State provided a new meeting record with a personal best brand of 21.75 m/71-4.25 on their first throw to claim gold. In her last throw of the final, Utitofon Sam recorded a season with 20.23 m/66-4.5 season to earn the silver medal. Marshalls Rebecca Merritt also recorded her bronze medal brand in the sixth round with a personal best brand of 19.58 m/64-3.

Heat ran 12 track events to determine the final on Tuesday evening. Louisianas Lawson Jacobs highlighted the preparations with a record time of 46.70 in the 400 m of men.

The long jump of the men recorded another personal best on the podium when Algirdas Strelciunas from Ulm recorded a brand of 7.66 m/25-1.75. Marshall's Addison Painter deserved silver with a brand of 7.38 m/24-2.5, which was recorded in the first round. Southern Miss' de'aundre became a season with 7.37 m/24-2.25 to earn the bronze.

Noa Isaia from the state of Arkansa claimed the gold in the men's weight throw in the fourth round with a throw of 19.80 m/64-11.5. Louisianas Oliver Jack secured his silver medal in the sixth round with a personal best distance of 19.79 m/64-11.25. Another personal best who deserves bronze on the podium when Edward Ta'amilo from Texas State recorded a distance of 18.48 m/60-75

The brand is currently third in NCAA and was outdoors for the former National Champion. Bradley Jelmert in the US state of Arkansas took silver with a release of 5.41 m/17-9 when Louisiana's Teodor Borgius made a personal best 5.21 m/17-1.

Imani Moore from Georgia Southern led women's long jump from their performance in the first round. In her last jump of the event, Moore solved 6.22 m/20-5 to secure the top podium. Valissa Brown in Georgia State recorded a personal top grade in the fifth round with 6.00 m/19-8.25 to earn the silver. Kiara Strayhorn in the US state of Arkansas acquired the bronze in the fifth round with a brand of 5.91 m/19-4.75.

The distant medley relay of men and women were among the final events of the first day. Marshall was led by Senior Kylee Mastin in the last leg when the thundering herd set up a new Meet record in 11: 29.22, a record that had not been touched since 2001. With the best time. App State ended the second in 11: 35.52 when Texas deserved the bronze in 11: 39.61.

Ulm claimed the men's DMR gold in 10: 03.08 as a combination of Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo, Bradley Riccardi, Elijah Palao and Juwan Blignaut ended the fastest division in every leg. The state of Arkansas finished second in 10: 09.53 when Louisiana took third place in 10: 12.05.

In the women's team race, Arkansas State (29) has a close lead over the state of Texas (27) and the app State (26). Marshall (22) and Louisiana (21) are at a blow when Southern Miss (18), Georgia Southern (10) and Troy (10) are finished in double -digit figures.

The men's team team race of the men are open with 12 last events to be contested on Tuesday. Arkansa's State (57) leads the competition with Louisiana (31) in second place. The state of Texas (25.5), Ulm (24), South Alabama (23.5) and Southern Miss (20) are separated by six team points.
