Hofstra Women Break Program Record in distance medley relay at the CAA championship

Virginia Beach, VA -The Hofstra Women's Indoor Echtle Team -on the first day of the women -indoor -icing athletics championship of the Coastal Athletic Association, broke the program record in distance medley with a time of 12: 56.22.

Allison ReidPresent Tori BienPresent Isabella GerenaAnd Jackalynn Orellana Betet the program record time of 13: 10.74 in the distance medley relay, which was discontinued last year at the CaA Indoor Athletics Championship 2024. With a time of 11: 45.34, Northeasters took first place in the DMR race.

In the 5000m race, Saralyn Frederick Ended with a time of 19: 13.71 to take 18th place. Hamptons Peninah Mutisya led the eighteen runners with a first place in 15: 45.87, while he broke the conference and hit records.

Elon heads the team competition with 48.5 points, while Northeasters sit behind them with 46.5 points on the second day of the CAA championship. William & Mary, Hampton and North Carolina A&T form the rest of the five best teams, while Hofstra is not classified.

The pride will open your athletics season outdoors on March 22 with the Stony Brook Snowflake Invitational.
