Hoosier's light outsider against Oregon; Will the early start help?

Indianapolis – Just nine days after the meeting on the west coast, Indiana and Oregon join again on Thursday in the second round of the Big Ten tournament in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. And it is early to get up for the ducks.

This is the first game of the second round of the day, and it starts at 12 p.m. This is 9 a.m. for the ducks, so that their body clocks get a little out of balance. Does this give the Hoosiers No. 9-Seed a small advantage over Oregon No. 8?

Oddsmakers at Fanduel.com lists that Ducks-Die won seven games in a row on Thursday morning, including a 73-64 victory at home against Indiana last Tuesday, as 1.5-point favorites. The line was opened at 2.5 on Wednesday afternoon, the over/under is 143.5.

The sowing was irrelevant in the first round on Wednesday, with No. 15 Iowa, No. 14 USC and No. 13 Northwestern. No. 10 State of Ohio, No. 11 Rutgers and No. 12 Minnesota are all on the way home. Penn State, Nebraska and Washington were not invited.

The chances are good that Indiana has already done enough to do the NCAA tournament field, but hardly. A win on Thursday would make her a castle. A loss? This could mean a trip to Dayton for a first four game to avoid what it is worth,

The Indiana Oregon winner will be on Friday, also at 12 p.m., Michigan State Michigan.

So far we know the following about how Indiana is spread out against the point this season.

Oregon was up and down in the Big Ten in his first year. The ducks were after a 12-1 start that contained victories against Alabama No. 9 and Texas A&M No. 20. They are currently 23-8 and 12-8 in the big ten

But they were wildly inconsistent. They are the only big ten team that loses five games in a row and then immediately wins seven in a row. Here we sit on Thursday with Oregon on a heating of seven games, the longest active series of every big ten team together with Michigan State.

Oregon is 15-16 against the spread, but has treated in five of her last six games. Fifteen of their 31 games went over the over/under -line line.

Oregon made the following directly and against the spread this season:
