Hot start not enough in the Cusa Home Opener

Las Cruces, New Mexico (KVIA) -in of an unusually cold March night welcomed the Aggies (15-12, 2-2) Jax State (20-7, 4: 0) for a Friday fight to the NM State Softball Complex. Despite 14 goals and an early lead from the home team, the production did not proved enough, with the NM state with an end result of 9: 7. The loss was the second in a row for Kathy Rodolphs squad in the Cusa game, while visitors extended a total winning strip with seven games

How it happened

After Desirae Spearan started a strike on the competition, he ended a 1-2-3 inning to open the series. · Faith Aragon expanded her hit series to the best eight games in the career and still organized the longest active series among all Aggies.

· Aragon has safely reached the base in 11 direct excursions, the team went up and down and further expanded a new career.

· Kristiana Watson hit a double to the right in the fourth inning for her 16TH Extra-base hit of the season and took second place in the team behind Desirae Spearman.
