How to see the selection on Sunday, start times, schedule, brackets and more

The best time in College basketball is here: March Madness. “Selection Sunday” is set for March 16 when the 68-team fields for the men's and women's tournaments of the NCAA Division I 2025 are finally announced.

Since November, hundreds of athletes have fought through the regular seasonal and conference tournaments, all of which fight for a place in the bracket. The NCAA selection committee decides on its fate and forms the stage for a tournament full of disorders, summer rackets and championship dreams.

How to see the selection on Sunday

The selection for the men's tournament begins at 6 p.m. ET on CBS and streams on Paramount+. The selection for the women's tournament is made at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and streams on ESPN+.

The NCAA will also stream live reporting on the show in NCAA March Madness Live.

Who hosts?

CBS 'Adam Zucker will organize the men's selection show and accompanied by the analysts Clark Kellogg, Jay Wright and Seth Davis. Bubba Cunningham, chairman of the NCAA basketball committee of the NCAA Division I, will also discuss the bracket in a live interview.

Elle Duncan from ESPN will organize the Women's Selection Show. Analysts Andraya Carter, Rebecca Lobo, Carolyn Peck, reporter Holly Rowe and “Bracketologist” Charlie Creme will be part of reporting.

Men's tournament plan

The first four of the men's tournament begin on March 18 and 19 at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. The championship game is planned for April 7th in the alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

  • First four: 18 to 19 March
  • First round: 20th to March 21st
  • Second round: 22nd to March 23rd
  • Sweet 16: 27. To March 28th
  • Elite eight: 29 to 30 March
  • Final Four: April 5th in the alamodome in San Antonio, Texas
  • NCAA championship game: April 7th in the alamodome in San Antonio, Texas

Women's tournament plan

The first four of the women's tournament begin on March 19 and 20. The place is to be determined. The championship game is planned for April 6th in the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Here is the full timeline for the women's tournament:

  • First four: 19th to March 20th
  • First round: March 21 to March 22nd
  • Second round: 23rd to March 24th
  • Sweet 16: 28. To 29 March
  • Elite eight: March 30th to March 31st
  • Final Four: Friday, April 4th, in the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida
  • NCAA championship game: Sunday, April 6th, in the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida
