How to see yourself in 2025 Big ten women's basketball tournament: seasons, TV channel and more

The big ten have typical regionalism of the middle West for more than a century. Now is the basketball tournament for women from … South California and UCLA?

It makes no sense, but it makes good basketball. No. 2 Trojans and Bruins No. 4 plunged a party that was about 2,000 miles from home, raised the “W” for West Side and immediately cleared the snack table.

These neighboring programs were 33: 3 in their opening conference efforts. Even wilder, two of these three losses were Trojans won in the head-to-head fight for Los Angeles. Juju Watkins, Kiki Irafen and the squad won the regular season finale on Saturday evening to win the title of the regular season and number 1 in the Big Ten tournament. The two California teams will hope to meet a third time in the championship round on Sunday.

Elsewhere, the state of Ohio spent the season to collect points and dominate sales. No. 15 Maryland ended with a winning streak with four games. We get five days of ball in the home borders of Tyrese -Heliburton and Caitlin Clark. Since interest and investments in women's basketball are steadily swinging up, each team on the field has the chance to draw new lifelong fans and MINZ March Seals.

Paths to victory

(1) USC – No imagination is required here. The Trojans just went 17: 1 against the rest of the conference, and a dozen of these victories was at least eight points. Lindsay Gottlieb's group dominates through three facets – an enormous size, versatile defense and the only team with Juju Watkins.

The paint presence of USC is huge. Wander Bucket Irafen is difficult to contain around the rims, fleet feet and persistent. She has one of the fortified stardowns in the nation. Rayah Marshall is an elite vine and a great trouble in reporting. The Trojans led the conference in blocks as well as offensive and defense authorities. Their length on the floor also brought them into subletting on the foul line. Against Big Ten, 40/27.7 percent shooting matters were uninspired.

Oh, right, 19-year-old Angeleno Megastar. It has become an inevitability. If last year was her claim for the best newcomer in the country, this year is her crowning glory as the best time: period:

(2) UCLA – The bruins lost twice against their crosstown rivals and became unbeaten against everyone else. The end of Saturday was bitter, but in 2024-25 Cori Close and the crew was still a lot of fun. If the Trojans did not go east with them, the UCLA would increase the right to historical best newcomers of a power conference.

Lauren Betts cheated on an all-American level wire-to-wire. It was an eternal 20-point double double, which anchored a strict defense and transferred the big ten to blocks. USC may have their number (29 points in two matchups, 41.7 percent with nine sales). The rest of the conference is almost helpless against them.

The UCLA offensive was number 1 in assisted baskets, and Betts' supporting line -up is deep. Six Bruins achieved an average of six and nine shots per game. Kiki Rice is a safe playmaker with a travel bag with dribble. This team would be outsiders against USC after home and at home, but they should be considerable favorites in any other draw.

(3) State Ohio – The Buckeyes fought in sales differentials, did not drive too much and played well on 2-pointers this season. They were beaten on the boards and dropped two of their last four attempts. Her Pacific coastal trip had a headache and lost in Pauley Pavilion at 13 and at 21 at USC. A complete tournament triumph is unlikely, but Kevin McGuff and Ohio State should at least be in line for a semi -finals. In the AP survey of February 17, they were given eighth place and have still evaluated two options for the labeling of leads. Cotie McMahon and Jaloni Cambridge came behind the arch in the last quarter of the regular season campaign.

(4) Maryland – After Maryland has lost a tiebreaker for the third seed, he will be the last of the “double -bye” teams for this weekend. That brings you to the USC page of the bracket. The Terrapins ended a high one, won four games in a row and seemed to be over the state of Ohio on Sunday. Kaylene Smikle is not afraid of a high volume and superstar usage rate; She had five conference games with at least 20 points. Shyanne Sellers is a threat to heat test. In the first three months, she achieved average less than two 3s and increased to 3.7 tests in February. She took seven Treys in this OT victory to start March. If Brenda Frese and the Terps actually stun the league, it will almost certainly contribute to the fact that sellers get nuclear.

To see other teams

A conference tournament is a game with zero sums, but it can be worth following the various styles presented in this area. The state of Michigan has been classified nationally since December 2. The strikers Grace Vanslooten scored an average of 15 points and added more than one block and theft per game. Senior Julia Ayrault completed her big ten career with dignity and took 11th place in the offensive evaluation and sixth place on the defensive. The Spartans are led by three seniors and two juniors.

Michigan was partly for the deep shot, and the first-time floor ranger Syla Swords has a brilliant future on the horizon. In five of her last six games, she scored at least three 3s. Olivia Olson in the first year scored 47/40/82 shooting and was 10th in Big Ten-Sieg shares. This Wolverine duo will be a headliner in subsequent tournaments.

Illinois also likes the 3rd. They made 39 percent of them while they kept opponents to only 30 percent. Kendall Bostic, Senior Illini, derived the conference as a whole.

In her first Caitlin Clark campaign, Iowa was the only big ten team that felled USC. It brought the UCLA in a two-point L, defeated Michigan in Ann Arbor and forced the extension in the state of Ohio. Villanova Transfer Lucy Olsen put large numbers in the boards in February and finished 18 points per game. Jan Jensen's Hawkeyes are the 11th seeds due to tie -breakers, but they have a high ceiling.
