How to style the favorite shoe of our fashion editor of our fashion editor

It is no secret that Slingbacks are my favorite shoe. Why? Because there are very few outfits that cannot be improved by a small kitten stroke and a flattering pointed toe, while this “effortless” coolness maintains.

Thanks to the heel strap, Slingbacks can also address all year round, which means that they can work with ribbed socks in winter and be carried solo in summer. Regardless of whether you wear it to grasp an everyday jumper, and jeans feel polished or to increase a holiday dress for the city, a slingback can do anything.

Trends in fashion circles, but also completely timeless, if you are looking for unexpected ways to style slingbacks this spring/summer, you are inspired by some of my most worn outfit combinations:

A styling tip for stealing is the combination of slingbacks and socks. This simple addition is a fashion insider trick to bring every outfit to a stylish new level. It is not just an easy way to master transaison dressing and to avert an early summer-friendly shoe, but it is also a relatively cheap hack (only the price for a new couple socks) because you feel like you have just bought a new pair of shoes.

The key to make this look correctly lies when combining your slingbacks and socks with longer pieces such as clothes, skirts and pants (or even a long duster coat). This keeps your outfit more elegant than neat. I love playing a sparkle couple of socks and a smooth slabic with a black suit for the perfect evening semicine.

If you never know exactly which shoes should wear with heavy pants like freight and parachute pants to still feel elegant, then Slingbacks are the answer. A pointed toe gives an elongated silhouette in which trainers and flat shoes are neglected and are much more practical for everyday life than a court shoe. Colors like white and butter yellow are a great pallet cleaner to keep Khaki and olive tones fresh in summer.
