How to watch Barcelona against Espanyol

While the FIFA International Pause usually means that club campaigns come to a standstill, this is not the case for Barcelona, which will compete against Espanyol on Wednesday in the Copa Catalunya semi -final.

What is the Copa -Katalunya? It is an official tournament as part of the Catalan Football Association (FCF), at which teams form Catalunya, which have been competing for regional fame in various departments since its foundation in 1984. The tournament offers visibility and promotes sport and teams in the region.

But the tournament's draw for a team like Barcelona is not so big that the Champions League, Copa del Rey and La Liga Glory chase the team in Hansi Flick's first season in the season.

The semi -finals Clash vs. Espanyol takes place, while Barça entertained 13 players of the first team to take part in the international break of March. Barcelona Athletic (Barças B team) and their young people A and B (U-19 and U-17) have also entered a challenging part of their season.

All of these circumstances prompted Barcelona to make the semi -finals newly planned, but the FCF has not committed and the game is played as originally planned.

In the decision of the FCF, Barcelona had to put together a team for the match, especially after Flick had given the remaining players of the first team in the squad after the training session on Tuesday.

Flick itself will not manage the semi -finals against Espanyol. Sergi Milà, sports manager of Barça, will lead a mixture of players from Barças B team, U-19 and U-17 pages on the touchline. Espanyol is also expected to consist of an XI of almost exclusively from academy players.
