HSE Health app now available for download

With the first iteration of the app, users can save medical cards, vaccination records and see the list of medication that is accessed via public systems

The HSE and the government have announced the start of the HSE Health app, the members of the public can now download them to their telephones.

The app is available for everyone over 16 via the Google Play or the App Store. There is currently in the first phase of development in which users need a verified “Mygovid” to access personal health information. The app enables the public to do the following:

  • Wear a digital list of self-declared medication and see a list of medication that has been obtained from the Drugs payment system or the medical card system.
  • Keep your European health insurance card, your medical card, your long-term illness card, the drug payment card and the GP visit card.
  • Access flu and Covid-19 vaccination records.
  • Simply find information about HSE services such as EDS and injury units.
  • Take a look at the appointments for maternity services (for expectant mothers).

In order to register at the HSE Health app and access personal health information, the user needs a verified Mygovid account. If users do not have verified Mygovid, you can continue to use the app to find information on health conditions and HSE services.
