Hulu ended the Oscars stream prematurely before the last awards

The Hulu subscribers looked at the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday evening when the streaming service ended its show before the show was actually over. The spectators saw a “thank you” message, which incorrectly claimed that the live event has now ended -despite the fact that the best actress and the best picture -Soscars would still come. Social -Media platforms and the Hulu Subreddit immediately illuminated with complaints and cancellations.

It turned out that it was a hard night for the Disney ownership service. A few hours earlier, Hulu admitted that some customers had problems that had registered: this problem was easily remedied before 9 p.m. But closing the live stream from the greatest prices of the evening was an even more embarrassing mistake. The error probably comes from Hulu, which gives the Oscars stream a fixed end time from 10:32 p.m. Exactly then the spectators were thrown out of the stream.

As usual, several Annahmereden lasted on Sunday evening, and Hulus chosen Cutoff period did not allow enough scope for an often uninable program. I don't know how we still have these streaming breakdowns in 2025 -especially from the company that has the rights to the Oscars Telecast -but here we are. As usual, cable viewers and those who looked with a television antenna were spared the technical difficulties.

The verge Has turned to Hulu to find an explanation of what went wrong in Hollywood's greatest night. The situation is reminiscent of Super Bowl Lii in 2018 when Hulu ended his live broadcast in some markets in a similar way before the game was completed.
