I am the FBI agent who led the examination of Covid Lab Leak … here is what my colleagues are too afraid to tell them

An FBI scientist who led the examination of the Covid Labor -Leak theory has shown why he is confident that China is behind the pandemic.

The FBI, the CIA and the energy department are likely to say that the virus at the Wuhan institute for Virology was created, but only the former says that it has “moderate trust”, this was the case.

Dr. Jason Bannan, a registered Democrat, speaks out to counteract the claim that the Labor -Leck -Theory is a right wing conspiracy.

Dr. Bannan said his team found Shi Zhengli, a senior Coronavirus researcher at the WIV, which was referred to as the “bat lady”, and her team carried out risky experiments to the closest known relatives of Sars-Cov-2 at least three years before the pandemic.

They also found that the WIV “thousands” of samples of Coronaviruses, many of which were not announced, and that a large part of the research was carried out in laboratories that had improper safety precautions for coronaviruses, which increased the risk of escape.

In personal quality, Dr. Bannan, who worked in the agency for more than two decades before he retired in 2022 -. Vanity Fair: “For me there is enough scientific evidence that it is likely that this was a laboratory incident.”

He added: “Science speaks volumes.”

It is estimated that more than 7 million people have died of Covid worldwide.

Dr. Bannan was more than 20 years as a FBI scientist and in 2009 won the FBI Director's Award for outstanding scientific progress for his work on the Anthrax examination.

He spent 11 of these years as a senior scientist in the FBI forensic reaction department in the laboratory department, where he also examined Covid's origins.

He retired in 2022 and has now exchanged himself as private individuals to counteract what he called inaccurate claims that Covid was naturally created.

Dr. Bannan said that it was also his goal to combat the preload towards a natural spillover event as a likely origin of pandemic, which he said was still represented in government reports.

He added: “How and where the Sars-Cov-2 virus was well adapted to humans is the question that the scientists forces to examine the laboratory jump.”

Some of the information in the FBI report is still classified, but Dr. Bannan has now shared the published studies that have led to the judgment of the FBI that Covid probably comes from a laboratory.

He revealed that the office had analyzed a dissertation of doctoral students Leiting Zeng from 2017, which worked at the WIV under Zhli, in which he described, in which he described how he developed a system to exchange components of various SARS-related coronaviruses to create chimeras that were difficult to see.

He explained how much of working in BSL-2 laboratories with a low extent was carried out without specialized air filtration or full dresses. In the United States, this work would have to be done in a BSL-3 laboratory with controlled air flow and protective clothing.

A separate thesis from June 2019 and Zhlis Student Yu Ping work on 2,800 Coronaviruses stored in the laboratory – with almost a third of these tests, positive on coronaviruses.

Dr. Bannan said the revelations raise a “lack of openness” among the WIV scientists about their research, which indicates that they have secretly adapted viruses “for years” under uncertain conditions.

Classified information also shows that three scientists who worked on the WIV, Yu Ping, Ben Hu and another researcher became ill in autumn 2019 with covidal symptoms.

HU and Ping denied that they got sick during this period, but the US government's sources, which were informed about the information, say that this is the case.

Dr. Bannan also said that studies that were published online show how thousands of viruses in the vaults of the laboratories that have not yet had to be publicly detailed.

He noticed A Paper from February 2019 from Zhengli, on trunks of coronaviruses that contained a circular diagram to develop three groups of bat viruses.

It was comparable to the thesis of June 2019, which used the same circular diagram, showed a fourth group of nine viruses.

The thesis added that they were based on “bat samples that were collected from 20 regions of China from 2011 to 2016 and were available in the laboratory”.

It was not clear why the fourth group of viruses was initially omitted, but supporters of the theory that Covid comes from the wilderness say that this could happen if the results are incomplete, research continues or there is no interest from scientific magazines.

The WIV had so many rehearsals from Coronaviren because scientists repeatedly visited a cave in Yunnan, China, to collect contaminated bat -Guano.

The cave was of interest to the institute in 2012 when six miners caught a mysterious illness there – and three died.

One of the rehearsals from this cave was called RA4991, to which a lot of suspicion determined that this could be the initial stretching of covid.

A work from February 2020 by Zhengli, which analyzed the virus tribes, which probably contributed to the first Sars outbreak in 2002, indicated that RATG13 was 96.2 percent like Sars-COV-2.

But this paper assumed that Ratg13 was actually RA4991, which was simply renamed. An update was later published in which the error was clarified, but Dr. Bannan said these alarmed officials of the FBI.

Dr. Bannan says that the virus is not the same enough to be the coronavirus, but that it creates a picture that the virus could have escaped from the laboratory.

An FBI spokesman said in a statement: 'The FBI has long examined that the origin of the Covid pandemic was probably a laboratory incident in Wuhan.

'The work began in early 2020 under the direction of the FBI mass destruction, as FBI experts for areas such as virology, immunology, microbiology, biochemistry and forensics began to examine this topic. In comparison, no such evidence was found that support the natural origins of the Covid hypothesis despite extensive studies in locations such as the Wuhan Live Animal Market.

There is a new endeavor to examine the origins of the Covid pandemic, and Senator Rand Paul has charged 14 government agencies for records in connection with the financing of research by the US government at the WIV.

And Tulsi Gabard, now head of the National Intelligence director's office, has undertaken to further check further reviews and could release further information.
