ID@Xbox Fanfest reveals Revenge of the Savage Planet Date, Lies of P: Overture Trailer and more

Yesterday, Microsoft presented several messages from third -party providers during the ID@Xbox Fanfest Showcase, which was held in collaboration with IGN with IGN.

The most important thing was the announcement of the publication date for Revenge of the Savage Planet. This is the continuation of Journey in the 2020 journey to the Savage Planet, which received positive reception, including a 8/10 number of points here on Wcctech by Nathan Birch:

Anyone who has more Metroid Prime must set the way to the Savage Planet at the top of their list. The game has a few rough edges and its sense of humor may not look for all tastes, but this inviting, adventurous metroid spirit catches better than anything I have been playing for some time. This wild planet moves you into his orbit when you give him half a chance.

However, it was not easy for the developers to start a sequel at all. The Typhoon Studios was taken over shortly before Google's game was published, but in early 2021 the studio was closed among others. Later this year, former members of the typhoon, including Game Director and author Alex Hutchinson, founded a new developer named Raccoon Logic and were able to secure Google's rights to continue. Revenge of the Savage Planet starts on May 8th for the Xbox series S | X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC and will be included in the game pass on the first day.

During this expansion, players come across a mysterious artifact that they bring back to Krat in the last few days. In the shade of an upcoming tragedy, her mission is to explore the past and uncover their dark secrets, which are haunted by surprises, losses and revenge. The developer says that the decisions made in the world of lies of P are passed through the past and the present that reveal hidden truths and leave permanent consequences. Lies of P: Overture will start this summer.
