Images published by Virginia Beach officers who died

The Virginia Beach police published pictures of the officials on Sunday that were shot on Friday evening.

Cameron Girvin and Christopher Reese were shot after a traffic authority by a 42-year-old John Lee McCoy III. Reese became a Bech officer in Virginia in 2022; Girvin was sworn in as an officer in 2020.

According to the police, the officials tried to run over a car with expired plates late Friday evening. The driver did not stop, and the officials followed the vehicle in a town house complex near the intersection of the Lynnhaven Parkway and the Wendfield Drive in the Green Run area, said Paul Neugate, chief of police from Virginia Beach.

McCoy initially refused to leave the vehicle after the officials approached according to the officials. After he got out, he began to argue with the officers, the boss said. The driver then pulled a pistol out of his pocket and shot both officers.

McCoy then went away, but his body was found in a nearby dandruff with a gunshot wound of which the police believed that she was self -indebted.

The shootout was recorded by the civil servants and a camera mounted with the bodies of the officials and a camera mounted with the dashboard, but the videos were not published.
