Infinity Castle's publication date is not that far away

Demon Slayer found that instead of only radiating his episodes through streaming services, it can earn a lot of money as a theater publication. This is now the case with Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, a new film that comes this year, the first of a trilogy to end the series.

Now the first film has a publication date of September 12, 2025 outside of Japan, and no, it is not broadcast on streaming at the same time. This is pursuing the massive success of The Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Movie with 473 million US dollars worldwide, an enormous route for essentially, which put together a few episodes. Now try to do the same with the Infinity Castle part of the starting material.

Demon Slayer gave a more limited publication: to the swordsmith Village, an episode compilation that made far less worldwide, 56 million dollars. But Infinity Castle is a full film trilogy event that is the finale of the entire series, which means that these films should earn a lot of money. At least that is undoubtedly the hope of UFOTable.

Here is the summary of the Infinity Castle Arc:

“The Demon Slayer Corps falls into the Infinity Castle to defeat Muzan. The remaining Hashiras and the demon hunters who survived Tanjiros will first compete against the remaining members of the twelve Kizuki. ”

The concept of dividing the show that normally broadcast into a complete film trilogy has rubbed some fans in the wrong direction, since it is far from a financial commitment to do so, not to mention a theater if many would rather stay at home and watch.

It feels like fighting the anime with much higher profile to produce their endings in a coherent way. I think back to the attack by Titan and his split at Split Final Season. I assume that a film trilogy is a little easier than that, but I can't blame the fans to have annoying myself with this practice. If this works, we will probably try more and more studios to do the same when it is possible to achieve hundreds of millions of dollars instead of only putting episodes like normal online. But there are a limited number of series that are large enough where this would have a chance (solo leveling, please do not receive any ideas).

We will see how it works in September, but there is hardly a chance that this will be a bomb. Demon Slayer is too big and this final is expected that this is done, no matter where it is broadcast.
