Inmates in Northshore prison dies after the medical emergency; be examined

The 57 -year -old Cokette Jean Meyer suffered a medical emergency on Monday while he was observed by medical staff in prison

St. Tammany Parish, La.-a 57-year-old inmate in St. Tammany Parish Parish Correctional Center died of an unknown medical illness early Monday, according to the authorities.

According to the St. Tammany Parish's office, Cokette Jean Meyer suffered a medical emergency at 1:40 a.m., while he was observed by medical staff and members of the prison. Officials said first aid and life -saving measures were carried out immediately until the medical emergency services arrived.

Meyer was taken to a local hospital where she was declared dead.

The cause of death will continue to be investigated until the autopsy results from the community wreath's office.

Meyer has been in custody since January 17, when the Slidell police were booked by violence or violence due to disorders of peace and resistance to arrest, the authorities said.
