Investigation of the crash after the passengers had fled the scene in the city center of Nashville

Nashville, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville police authority examines an accident that ended with two vehicles on Broadway, two drivers in the hospital and ask why passengers fled out of the scene in a vehicle.

The crash occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday on Broadway and 13th Avenue South. Officers at the crime scene reported that the driver of an SUV drove through a red light and collided with a taxi minivan. Both vehicles came upside down on the street.

The officials said that both drivers suffered injuries and taken to the hospital for treatment. However, there were several passengers in the SUV and fled the scene right after the incident.
